   Velvet Root Salon is now open and proudly serving the Lee’s Summit community as of April 2026. This marks the Lightfoot family’s third salon location, following two successful salons previously established in California.

   Owner and lead stylist, Bre Lightfoot, brings 25 years of experience behind the chair, specializing in custom color, blonding, and advanced color correction. Known for delivering high-quality results while keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable, Bre has built her career on making clients feel both confident and comfortable.

   At Velvet Root, we believe great hair should come with a great experience. Our salon is built on a team-focused environment where professionalism, creativity, and a little bit of fun all go hand in hand.
